Anthonia Farfalli: Because I live in Brooklyn, NY, people ALWAYS want to visit. I have been to ALL of the tourist attractions too many times, so now when people come to visit, I supply them with their own MetroCard pre-loaded with at least two rides, a subway map and directions to famous sites. I also give them a key to my home (only those most trusted) so that they can come and go as they please. It's worked well and I don't have to see the Statue of Liberty for the 500th time! love muppet: I think it's a super great idea to do all those little extras for guests. As you say they don't cost much except in a little time and thought. Those little touches do make people feel special. I always think a small pile of magazinesand coffee table books which cover a few interest ranges is good too. If you have close family and friends leaving out aa family photo album works too. This way when your busy cooking, doing prep or maybe putting your little ones to bed it stops your guest feeling at loose end. I hope you, your family and guestd ave a great Christmas, Kathryn
